Blasphemous Fanart

After revisiting the spectacular game of Blasphemous and finding out that later this year we may see a sequel, i was motivated to give a go at interpreting some of its enemies from within the first game. Blasphemous is a game that in recent times has kept me hooked more than any other game has. its intriguing narrative, stunning visuals and unforgiving but fair game play has me coming back every couple of months to see what new theories, ideas and content may be around. so much so that i took it on myself to do something that i usually don't, Fanart. though i made sure to take some artistic liberty in its interpretation!

i had a blast making this ( and other pieces which are to come later!) and i can't wait to see what new additions will be made to the wonderfully macabre world of Blasphemous

I interpreted the winged head as the decapitated head of a martyr, blessed by the miracle to be its personal "eyes in the skies.
