Monster Hunters

For this project I’m mainly just playing with silhouettes and shapes using a very loose funky brush to start with then moving into cleaning it up. Kind of like carving out of a brick of marble!

Hunter Hyenri - “His hunting ambitions stem from a simple need. Making ends meet. Though pride does surge through him after every successful hunt, it’s the bag of coins hitting his palm that truly brings a smile to his face. Though his physique may seem tame and unimposing often leading him to be mocked among peers, his swordsmanship is a force to be reckoned with. A fact none of his piers are willing to put to the test.”

The chef: No one really knows this hunters name, nor where he emerged from. Despite this he has none the less remained eye catching and memorable to all who walk past him. In Part due to his admirable bulk but more notably for his voracious appetite. His sole desire for hunting doesn’t lie in the gold that awaits or the trophies to be hung, but rather in the myriad flavours to be experienced!

“Mjurn”: Mjurn is the type of hunter even hunters hate. Cold, callous and unforgiving. Often hired by less than savoury individuals within the “trophy pet” industry. Mjurn obliges more often than not (after some healthy bargaining), delivering in full and having his own fair share of “fun” with the poor unassuming victims that cross his path.
