Rangers Pilgrimage Trilogy
The ranger had been sent by the diocese to undertake an exploratory pilgrimage into the unknown wild-lands. Lands which, unbeknownst to the ranger, were under the ever corrupting thumb of the gnarled witch Gaia, a land which he feared he may never return from.
Once known as having been brethren to the holy man and a symbol of peace and fertility, the Fauns repurpose it at the vile hand of Gaia had it twisted into a machine of pure malice, a warden. Few that have seen a Faun have lived to tell the tale
Nymphs, known as possessing an otherworldly beauty capable of leading a man to drown in lust, now are a mere mockery. They retained some of that once fabled beauty yet seem to have taken onto a more openly aggressive appearance.
The victim was one belonging to the forest kin themselves, the vile fiend that now lay slowly rotting before him must have angered one if its brethren, or maybe his allegiance to Gaia had been weak...
